v2026.09.5

Released 2026-09-29.

  • The mailbox is now a mail client you can actually work in. Until now it was a bare screen for checking that mail had arrived. You can now reply, reply to all and forward, write with bold, lists and links, attach files, and leave something half-written as a draft and come back to it. Mail opens as a conversation rather than a row you squint at, and it works on a phone, so you can answer from wherever you are. Minion tells you when new mail lands and when something you sent bounced, instead of the bounce disappearing silently.

  • Everyone on the team can have their own address. Alongside the shared workspace address, each member can hold a personal one, and the header lets you switch between the addresses you can read. You can also create aliases and use plus addressing (you+invoices@…) to sort what comes in — useful when you want a separate address for a supplier or a signup without setting up another mailbox. Anyone can export their own mail without asking an administrator.

  • Workflow branch conditions are written as fields, not as an expression. A conditional node now takes a list of rules — a field, a comparison and a value — which the canvas can draw in your own language and which Minion checks against the incoming contract when you save.

This replaces something that looked like it worked but did not: the old jq option never had a jq engine behind it, so a real jq expression always resolved to nothing, every downstream node was skipped, and the run still reported success. A conditional that cannot pick a branch now fails and records why. Existing workflows keep running — jq continues to work as it always actually did, as a plain field path.

  • Attachments arriving in your mailbox are scanned for malware. Scanning applies to mail received from now on; attachments already in the mailbox are not scanned retroactively.

  • Mail is kept more carefully. Stored mail is versioned, so an overwrite or an accidental delete can be recovered from, and older material moves to cheaper storage over time rather than being kept at full cost forever. Sending now goes through its own IP pool, so the workspace’s sending reputation no longer rides on unrelated traffic.

  • Webhook URLs and preview links no longer point at an address that cannot be reached. Copying a DAG workflow’s webhook URL produced https://0.0.0.0:3000/…, which looked plausible enough to paste into another service and then never fire. Sign-in redirects and the preview round-trip were wrong for the same reason and are fixed together.

  • Mail search and paging work, and a list that had stopped loading past the first page loads again.
